Sonya Singh is a writer, editor and photographer whose work has appeared in The Guardian, Los Angeles magazine, Rogue magazine, NME, Nylon and others, specializing in culture and music. She has photographed artists from small stages to stadiums, helped tell stories from inside maximum-security prison and interviewed people from U.S. ambassadors to Slash. Her story on "Parks and Recreation" star Aubrey Plaza was featured on the cover of a 2017 issue of Rogue magazine. Singh is a graduate of New York University and Pepperdine University, where she served as the executive editor of the weekly newspaper. Previously, she worked as an editorial assistant in London and interned at BBC Worldwide Productions in Los Angeles before beginning her freelance career. She is also a journalism professor and the director of Lancer Media Group at California Baptist University.
